Monoprinting, 2024

Monoprinting is where my love for layered storytelling meets the physicality of printmaking. Using traditional block print inks, I build gossamer veils of color and form—often layering 12 to 15 impressions to create depth, texture, and resonance. Each print is a meditation in process, composed of symbolic masks and shapes drawn from my personal visual language: echoes of Indigenous glyphs, sacred directions, and archetypes from Paleolithic goddess cultures. Recurring figures—owl, fish, butterfly, bull—embody cycles of femininity and nature’s regenerative wisdom. These works carry the weight of ritual, honoring the passage between maiden, mother, and crone, as well as the eternal rhythm of life, death, and renewal.
