Rituals: My Creative Process as an Artist

My creative process is deeply intertwined with many various rituals, they change from season to season and year to year. Rituals not only enhance my productivity but also create a soothing environment conducive to innovation and focus.

1. Lighting Candles: One of the first things I do is light candles on my work table. The flickering flame is inherently calming, its gentle dance a visual reminder to breathe and stay grounded. When the candle emits a fresh, natural scent, it further enriches my workspace, making it a sanctuary of creativity. This ritual helps me feel at ease, providing a tranquil backdrop for my thoughts to flow freely.

2. Burning Incense: Another integral part of my routine is burning incense. The aromatic oils released stimulate various responses, aiding in different aspects of my creative process. I particularly enjoy the scents of Patchouli, Nag Champa, and a resin called Dragon’s Blood. Despite its dramatic name, dragon’s blood is incredibly effective at clearing stagnant energy and fostering a fresh, invigorating atmosphere. This shift in energy helps me access new ideas and inspirations, keeping my work dynamic and vibrant.

3. Drinking Ryze Mushroom Coffee: This year, I introduced Ryze Mushroom coffee into my routine, and it quickly became one of my favorite rituals. As a coffee lover, I appreciate its deep, roasted taste, reminiscent of traditional coffee. Beyond its delightful flavor, Ryze Mushroom coffee is packed with adaptogens, which help balance hormones and ease cortisol levels. This drink not only serves as a satisfying coffee substitute but also supports my overall well-being, ensuring I stay balanced and focused throughout my creative sessions.

These rituals are more than just habits; they are essential components of my creative process. They provide a foundation of calm and clarity, allowing me to tap into deeper levels of inspiration and productivity.
